How To Make Money On Line

There are almost as many ways to make money online as there are websites trying to sell you something online……Millions in fact!

The great thing though, is that it all boils down to a few common factors.

No matter if you are starting web traffic or you have the Best Home Business or you have a website promoting %LINK% you will be facing the same challenges.

If your product or service is unique or niche then you will not have any, or too much, competition but if your product is not unique or niche, then you will need to have a reason why anyone should buy from you rather than someone else also offering the same product.

A website with a high ranking in the search engines is without doubt the most cost effective way to sell your product or service.

Only one small problem here……….if you look at how many websites are offering the same or similar product to the one you intend to market it will usually run to many thousands ? if not millions, of websites.

Now before you throw your hands in the air and decide to go and do something else, it is worth pointing out that you can get your website high up in the free searches. It won?t be an instant process but if you are methodical and consistent you can do it yourself ? or if you have the money, you can arrange for a SEO specialist to do the work for you.

Make sure that you study the websites of your competitors to see what they do and say.
Also ensure that you have a capture box to collect the name and email address of your potential customers. You will want to build a customer list, and this is usually best achieved by using email marketing software. Most website owners use a professional company for this rather than trying to manage a growing list by themselves.

Building links to your website is another important factor in gaining higher web ranking.

NEVER be tempted to buy one way links! It could get your website de-listed by many of the major search engines including google.

Social bookmarking is also highly regarded by the search engines, so make a point of joining as many social bookmarking sites as you can, such as dig.com, StumbleUpon.com, Reddit.com etc., and make regular bookmarks of your articles and any of your web pages that contain information of interest.

The Best Traffic Money Can Buy…?

I will be honest; the title of this article is slightly misleading. You see, in my opinion, the best traffic that money can buy actually doesn’t cost anything - it’s free! :-)

I am talking of course about the magical traffic that we have all heard of but that only a select few have experienced…..free search engine traffic.

We all know that it is possible to get tons of free traffic from the big search engines - Google, MSN, Yahoo and so on but getting to the top of these engines has always been incredibly tough. Actually, I am being slightly dishonest again. Going back a few years, it was in fact very easy to get a high search engine ranking, you just put a page together, threw in a few meta keywords and a decent page title and scattered your keywords across the text content a bit and that was it. Wait a week or so and bingo, you’ve got yourself a front page ranking on Google! Ok, it wasn’t quite that simple but it wasn’t much harder than that.

Nowadays getting to the top of the engines is much harder and even if you do make it to the top, you can be dropped just as quickly if the search engine decides to change the way in which they rank websites.

However, whilst getting your site indexed and ranked in a decent position does take a bit of effort, it isn’t impossible, especially if you know what the search engines are looking for. I am no expert on the topic of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) but I have studied the subject on a casual basis since I first started online in 1998. I am really a lazy SEO’er and part of the reason for this is that I have spent the time in past optimizing sites, only to have Google (or whoever) suddenly decide that they don’t like my site quite as much as they did last week and dropping me way down their rankings. All that lovely free traffic gone overnight :-( I got fed up with this a couple of years ago and vowed never to chase search engine traffic again!

That said, there is nothing quite like top quality, targeted, free traffic and the buzz of getting several hundred (or even thousand) visitors every single day without spending out a single penny can’t be beaten. Just think how much it would cost you to buy 500 visitors each day using Google Adwords or similar (and this form of advertising isn’t anywhere near as effective as it used to be but that’s a story for another day!).

Anyway, back to the point of this article…. It is possible to get very good search engine rankings very quickly IF you follow some basic rules when you build your websites. To illustrate this (and remember, I am no expert), I noticed this week that my new site, SimplyWholesale.co.uk already has several number one (and front page) rankings on Google, MSN and several other smaller search engines! I am even beating eBay on some keywords and phrases :-) Now, bear in mind that this site was launched just two weeks ago. I haven’t done any ‘major’ search engine optimization on it - just the absolute basics. There are hardly any inbound links to the site (seriously, like a dozen absolute maximum) AND none of the search engines have crawled anywhere near the entire site. At the time of writing, Google has indexed just 17 pages out of almost 1500!! Despite this, Google and the other engines are sending me some fairly healthy traffic everyday. Just think how much traffic I could be getting in a few weeks time once the site has been fully indexed?!

So, why am I telling you this? Simple. Because getting good search engine rankings doesn’t have to be an impossible task. If you know the basics and apply them to your site, there is no reason why you shouldn’t start to see some free traffic coming your way. Now of course, you can’t expect to do a bit of work on your site and suddenly rank no.1 on Google for a really competitive search term such as ‘earn money online’ BUT you don’t need to. At the end of the day all you need to do is make sure that your site ranks well for a handful of relevant keywords/phrases and as long as they are words that people are actually searching for, you will see the benefits.

Why People Say ? There Is No Money In Internet Marketing.

Just finished check my email. Nothing new, three payment notification emails from PayPal, two new ClickBank sales, one new prospect in membership site I?m promoting and one mail from a frustrated marketer ?I?ve been doing Internet marketing for last 3 years, I?ve joined so many programs. I
max out my credit card but haven?t made a dime yet.?
I receive this type of mails daily and always wonder why people don?t earn money through Internet. In fact it?s the easiest way to make money. I think there may be two reasons behind it.

1. People are not willing to learn.
People don?t want to learn. A research shows that 97% people think that they are smarter than others and they need not to learn new things. I?m not saying that they are wrong. Off course they are expert in their field but when it comes to other field or say Internet marketing they are zero. They don?t know anything about it so they should learn first.
You may ask what about the rest 3%. Well these 3% people don?t think they are smarter (they are actually smartest) and they try to learn from everyone. That?s why these 3% people are having 97% wealth of the world.

2. Internet is filled with hypes.
The second reason is that internet is filled with hypes. There are thousands of companies and marketers, who want only your money. They don?t care about you and usually don?t deliver what they promised. When somebody tries to
learn from them, he ends up with an exhausted credit card and a belief that ?There is no money in Internet Marketing?
So the real question is what you should do to get succeed. In one line ?Learn everything from a reliable source and implement that strategies in your business.
There is a shocking fact ?successful internet marketers don?t try to sale anything to anybody?.
?What, how will they earn money if they don?t sale? you may ask. Well first they gain trust of people and than simply recommend some product. The best way to gain trust is give them some valuable gift. It may be a mini-course, a short report or some kind of software. You too can do it.
>> I don?t have enough knowledge to create a mini-course or report.
>> I don?t have any software to giveaway.
>> I am not so famous why people will trust me.
>> I can?t do it because I am too young or too old.
>> I missed the right time to enter in Internet marketing.
You may sound like this but there is always a way around what-ever the excuse is. When these famous marketers started, nobody knows them. Today we have a marketer who earned millions in just 19 years of age. So don?t forget ?There is always a way.?
So here is a short and simple way to get success:

1. Join list of 5-6 well-known marketers.
The first step is very important. Join mailing list of 5-6 famous marketers and learn what they teach you. If you learn carefully, you?ll come to know that things are always same, the only difference is way of presentation. When you
join some e-courses from famous marketers, you?ll have enough data to compile your own course. I?m not saying that you just copy their course. Grab an Idea from their course and make yours.

2. Search for free software you can giveaway.
You can find thousands of software, ebooks for free online. Just get a few good software or ebooks to offer as incentives to people.

You Attract Who You Are On The Internet!

Being online is not only about getting your piece of pie, it’s also about what kind of pie you are getting. Your company is often being measured by many other business people online. There are many ways that people are keeping an eye on you.

- Search engine placements
- Number of incoming links
- Alexa ranking
- PR Rating online
- Website growth
- What others are saying

The reason why people do this is because, we are all looking for other great companies to tie into. Marketing online is about creating a network of advertising to come back to you. The more you put out there, the more you’ll have coming in.

On another note, the quality of what you put out there is very important as well. You are more likely to have your advertising ad viewed by many people from a very popular website, rather than a newbie. This is why many of the top websites in the world offer advertising to the public. There is money to be made.

As an entrepreneur, you should always be looking for ways to connect your business with others online. This is a crucial step so many seem to neglect to do. Maybe you feel it isn’t that important, or maybe you don’t know how to start.

Connecting people online is more simple than you think. It comes down to finding other like minded people like yourself and combining your services or products together. For instance, let’s say you sell “shoes online”. Try finding “Shoe repair shops” that will work with you to bring both your visitors together.

So now that we know why it’s important, let’s also take a look at how you can get the better half of the pie every time…

You attract what you are:
Can’t be more right when it comes to online. When someone is researching online to connect with others, there is no personal feel to it, it’s simply information so we tend to go for the facts. Like I mentioned above, people are trying to measure your success. Why are they trying to do that? To determine whether or not you have made your website as successful as theirs. It’s as simple as that. If you work hard and end up getting medium-to-good-success online, on the same note, you will attract websites that measure up to yours.

The beginners & players:
When starting out, you want to find websites within your field that have also just started. This way, you both can grow together. On the flip side, if you’ve been around for a while, getting other websites attention won’t be too hard for you. People will either listen up real quick or not at all by the measure of your success online.

Sad Reality:
In some respects, this method of connectivity seems much like a rally for BMW’s and another rally for NEON’s. There is rarely something that fits in the middle. If you now have medium success online, it is still a little tough to make successful websites want to connect with you and the newer websites are now knocking on your door.

In Conclusion:
Keep plugging away at everything you are doing online. What you put out there will come back in equal amounts. - Law of the universe.

Internet Marketing - How This Changed Method Changed My Life

Sometimes in life you just feel inspired by some unknown force that drives you to the brink of madness. That’s how I feel about Internet marketing. I know you hear stories about people who have made millions of dollars without much time or effort. In reality that doesn’t happen as often as you might think. I would compare it to winning the lottery because the chances are very slim. Having said that, you can become a very successful Internet Marketer if you learn the techniques that we all must abide by.
